MODERNIZATION OF THE HARDWARE AND STUDIO COMPLEX OF THE TV CHANNEL ZHETYSU
DNK-TV company has implemented a project for the complete technical modernization of the hardware and software complex of the "Zhetysu" TV channel, based in the city of Taldykorgan.
The audience of "Zhetysu" amounts to about 1.5 million television viewers, which constitutes approximately 10% of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The popularity of the TV channel in Taldykorgan reaches up to 60% of the population. Outside of Kazakhstan, the channel's content is available for viewing via satellite in several countries, including Russia, China, India, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan. In addition to its own content, "Zhetysu" rebroadcasts the Icon TV and DigitalTV channels in Almaty.
The need to modernize the technological infrastructure of the hardware and studio complex for the customer has long been apparent. With the introduction of the new premises, DNK-TV specialists installed the entire set of television systems required for the operation of the TV channel within two months. In addition to the record delivery time of the facility, it is worth noting that the work was carried out without interrupting the broadcast.
The structure of the complex is based on a tapeless production system, broadcasting automation, and the Cinegy digital archive. Three hardware-studio blocks, air equipment, and duplication equipment are equipped with the latest technical solutions.
A newsroom with 35 workstations for journalists and editors is provided.
The upgraded infrastructure of "Jetysu" enables broadcasting programs live and on schedule, with the capability of overlaying complex on-air graphics.
This project underscores DNK-TV's ability to provide advanced solutions for modernizing television complexes and ensuring high-quality broadcasting for channels in Kazakhstan.
